The company Santé Network, member of the Santé Group, has beaten its keen competitors and gained the prestigious award Ruban d´Honneur which qualified it for the final of the competition European Business Award 2011 in the category Employer of the Year Award.
More than 15 000 organizations from 30 Europe countries participated in the competitions of European Business Awards 2011. The company Santé Network fought its way among the ten most sucessful participants and by this important award it ranked itself among the most important companies of European Union. Only two companies represented the Czech Republic in the final. Winnig of the Ruban d´Honneur proves the leading position of Santé Network among health service providers within the Czech market. The European Business Awards prizes are recognized as hallmarks of innovativeness, success and sustainable development.
Based on a vote taken by an expert jury on June 10th 2010 our company was awarded 2nd place in Employer of the Year 2010 competition, in the category Employer without Barriers.
Guarantor in this category is Fund Bariéry. The award “Employer Without Barriers” acknowledges firms with more than 25 employees that employ handicapped persons not only to fulfill prescribed requirements and thus reach the contribution prescribed by the law, but for their abilities, which are unaffected by their handicap.
On April 27th 2010 Santé Network was awarded trademark Working Handicapped Persons. The idea behind this trade-mark is support for creating and maintaining jobs for persons with handicapped, as well as supporting and promoting products and work of these people. Trade-mark project Working Handicapped with Activities throughout the Czech Republic creates systematic conditions and possibilities for identification of products created, completed or packaged by handicapped persons. Only those companies that have at least 50 % of handicapped persons as their employees can be awarded this trademark. The trademark was created by Foundation For the Support of Employment of Handicapped Persons (Nadační fond pro podporu zaměstnávání postižených) and is awarded by not-for-profit organization Association for Quality Awards (Sdružení pro oceňování kvality), which administrates almost all trademarks in the CR. The goal is to spread the trademark in other EU countries. The logo combines national colors of the Czech Republic and symbolizes hands that hold something, want to hug someone.
On June 5th 2008 Santé Network was awarded 3rd place in nationwide competition Microsoft Employer without Barriers 2008. Guarantor in this category designed for firms employing handicapped persons is fund BARIÉRY, award Employer without Borders acknowledges firms with more than 25 employees, which employ handicapped not just to meet the paper requirements and thus be eligible for contributions defined by the law, but for their abilities, which are unaffected by the handicap.
On April 14th 2008 Santé Network was also awarded **second place in regional competition Equal Chance – Employer 2008 ** and certificate of merit for socially responsible company in employing persons with handicap. This competition is organized by the Czech Chamber of Commerce together with trading company Rytmus and Czech Union for Supported Employment (Česká unie pro podporované zeměstnávání).
