Dental hygiene, teeth whitening

The aim of dental hygiene care is to create optimal hygienic conditions in oral cavity, increase patients interest in oral health and esthetics and very importantly also positively influence patient’s mental state before seeing a dentist.

Dental hygiene focuses on parodontology (removal of soft coating and plaque, polishing roots of teeth), procedures related to prevention of dental caries (modification and polishing of fillings, local fluoridation), but also orthodontic procedures (creating study models, polishing and fluoridation of teeth after braces). Dental hygiene includes e.g. fluoridation of jaws, practice of therapeutic and preventive procedures in oral cavity, removal of plaque, whitening.
