By joining the project “Green Firm” our company gave the employees the opportunity to get rid of small old electrical appliances and batteries in ecological way, which significantly broadens our activities in the area of environmental protection.
The aim of the project “Green Firm” is the protection of the environment by collecting and recycling efficiently waste from old electrical appliances. These contain dangerous substances, such as mercury, lead, cadmium, bromide retarders and so on, but also large amounts of recyclable and usable materials.
Old electrical appliances from households are collected by employees in a special box. This project also allows our company to recycle company’s large electro-waste.
By joining the project “Green Firm” our company demonstrates ecologic thinking towards employees, as well as towards the public. It is another step towards our long-term goal – reducing our impact on the environment. The possibility to recycle small “household” electro-waste is one of the benefits we offer our employees.
The initiator of the project is REMA Systém a.s., which provides organization of collecting, sorting, recycling and handling electro-waste throughout the Czech Republic.
